As I was brainstorming my next blog, I knew I wanted it to be a "DIY", however I didn't know exactly what I wanted it to be. There are a million plus one "DIY" ideas that I could easily blog about, and many of them you are probably already familiar with, but instead I chose a more unique and useful craft, a "God Box."
What is a "God Box?"
Many of you readers may already be familiar with a "God Box" and maybe you are even using one now! That's great! But those of you who don't know or have one, this is for you. A "God Box" is simply a small box where you place your worries, fears, concerns, etc. and psychologically give them away to God. All it takes is for you to take a minute to write that problem down on a little sheet of paper, pray about it, and place in the "God Box." That's it! You took a problem in your life that is troubling you and psychologically gave it to a higher authority, God. Some people may feel better after just writing the problem down that's troubling them and getting it off their chest. I have also known people to put certain prayers that are beyond their control in a "God Box" so they can leave it up to Him. In my opinion, a "God Box" is great for any unanswered prayer, concern, worry, etc. and for anyone. Also, it's SUPER easy to make! Read below for "DIY" instructions...

I first became familiar with a "God Box" when I first made one for my best friend, Shelby Cannon, post her finding out about her unexpected pregnancy with now the biggest blessing in her life, Cannon. I'll leave it up to you readers to find out the rest of her story, at shelcannon.blogspot.com. I promise you it's AMAZING! Anyways, what better pregnancy gift could I get her that's any better than a "God Box?" There's not one. Overall, I couldn't have been any happier with the gift that I chose for her, because not only did it help her in the down time and stress of preparing for the new baby, it also allowed her to build on her faith with God and rely on Him.
This blog is very different from the others that I have recently wrote, especially since it's my first DIY. However, I hope that all you readers have taken at least one thing away from it! And that is when things start looking rough, you're worrying a lot, dealing with things beyond your control... GIVE IT TO GOD. No matter the situation or how stressed you feel, putting things into God's hands is by far the best decision you'll ever make. Remember, pray about it, place in the "God Box," and let it go.
